Aselo®: Connecting Crisis to Care

Tech Matters created Aselo to bring modern, purpose-built technology to crisis response helplines around the globe. Aselo brings best-in-class software development practices to co-develop a platform for helplines, with helplines. We believe in building technology that strengthens the capacity of human counsellors so they can reach more helpseekers effectively.
Aselo Crisis Helpline

Social Problem Addressed

Helpline counsellors around the world receive tens of millions of calls each year, providing accessible critical support across a wide range of issues. Yet, often helplines are stuck with clunky, disparate systems that aren’t built for their needs and are unable to adapt to their evolving programs. Failing technology leads to missed or dropped calls, frustrated counsellors, cybersecurity risks, and lost data.

Here's What We're Doing

Aselo is a modern, cloud-based, purpose-built platform that unifies helpline counselling, data collection, client management and follow-up, quality assurance, and reporting. Designed to be customizable to each helpline we work with, our features are built to be flexible, modular, and designed to each helpline’s specific operations. By increasing helpline access and improving counselor efficiency, Aselo enables helplines to reach more people and provide better quality care. Aselo is used in over 15 countries, supporting organizations that run helplines for child protection, mental health, gender-based violence, online safety, and more.
